The Turas Elite
This Turas is a custom Elite that started life like any other Turas. It was CNC machined, but that’s where the similarity to our production version ends. The Elites are manually turned on our new Precision Matthews manual lathe and given a unique profile, while it might look like other Elites, each is slightly different as no stops are used, the grip is 100% free hand machined, then polished by hand. Each Elite takes many hours of work to complete, there is no quick easy button to push to complete these and they will be far and few between as we go forward and focus on other production processes and growth as a company.
This particular Elite features a Zirconium Body that was given a unique multi color oil slick finish, the stem was also hand turned and given a 100% unique shape I’ve never done before, Titanium cap with a Zirconium medallion inlay. A truly unique piece that was a lot of fun to make!
Each Elite includes a set of Wiha bits and a Hard case that has had the foam laser cut here in shop for a custom fit.

Fully CNC Machined
Holds standard 1/4 bits securely
Approximately 3.1" long, bearing cap is 1" in diameter and grip is .615" diameter.
1/4 Hex broached in for keeping exact tolerances required.
Designed with ultimate grip in mind for breaking free pesky loc-tite on knife screws.
Bearing has been installed under the cap.
Hand Finished
Bit Driver Features magnet recessed in the pocket for retention of magnetic bits.
